Who I am -- The Basics

My name is Christian Lavoie. At the time of writing this, I was an undergraduate studying at McGill University. This website had been written for Stephan Langerman's Computational Geometry course of Autumn 2002. Most likely, you will find a more up-to-date version of this on My personnal website.

My personal interests included a large variety of things. Origami and other fun maths (knot theory, game theory, to name a few) were really just a hobby, but a very interesting one. I also was starting to get more and more interested in Japanese culture, and in particular to what was to be learnt from a culture that had historically been separate from the rest for thousands of years. My interest in origami sparked from there, after reading Tom Hull's very good webpage.

What do I do today? Find out.
