Rectangle Visibility Applet

This applet implements the algorithm for compacting a rectangle visibility graph layout:

Ileana Streinu and Sue Whitesides, Rectangle visibility graphs: characterization, construction, and compaction, STACS 2003: 26-37.

Instructions:

• Draw a rectangle by pressing the left mouse button, dragging the mouse and then releasing the button when you are finished.
• Type 's' to "shrink" the drawing.
• Type 'v' to see the rectangle visibilities.
• Press the shift key while pressing the "Reload" button on the browser to erase the drawing and start over.
