The text for the first few weeks of the course is Chvatal's Linear Programming. Details of how to access this text online will be provided at the first and second lectures
The first assignment will be due on Janaury 26th. It has been posted on the assignments webpage. You will need to use an LP Solver. A page setting out various options in this regard is available here

Professor Reed's office hours on March 23,30, and April 6th are cancelled, He will hold office hours from 10-12 on March 24th and April 7th, and be available for consultation by email the week of the 30th.
