McGill University - School of Computer Science

Computational Geometry Seminar

Everybody is welcome.

DATE: Wednesday, October 8th, 1997
TIME: 12h00 - 13h00
PLACE: McConnell 320
TITLE: "Living with LRS"
SPEAKER: Prof. David Avis, School of Computer Science, McGill University.

This talk will be about 5 years of experience implementing, refining and using the lrs code, which solves high dimensional convex hull/vertex enumeration problems using reverse search. I will focus on the interesting theoretical issues that were raised and resolved (to some extent at least) by this project, and their impact on the the code's performance and functionality.
