Travelling to Montréal

By air: All commercial flights now arrive at Dorval airport, located approximately 20 km west of Montréal. From there, shuttle buses run from the airport to the downtown terminal. A shuttle bus schedule is available on the Aeroports de Montréal web site. A taxi ride from the airport to downtown costs $25.

Accommodation in Montréal

Participants of CCCG '98 should make their own arrangements for accommodation. There are several hotels in the downtown area of Montréal. The Montréal E-Guide has the best comprehensive listing of downtown hotels.

A very nice and inexpensive hotel quite close to McGill is the Manoir Ambrose. Rooms there start at $40, including breakfast. Some people have reported to me that the web page is unavailable from their locations. If you wish to contact Manoir Ambrose, their telephone number is (514) 288-6922. Their fax is (514) 288-5757. They have no e-mail address.

McGill University has an agreement with five hotels in the area for special rates for visitors. All of the following hotels are within walking distance of McGill. These hotels and special McGill rates are: Also near McGill is the Hotel du Parc, which is offering a special rate to those attending CCCG '98 or Graph Drawing '98.

McGill University Residences offer rooms for CAN$33 (or CAN$27 for students). They ask that you reserve before July 16.
