If you're travelling here from Ontario or Northwest New York, this is a fairly simple way to get here.

Take Ontario Highway 401 east to the Québec border, where it changes to Québec Autoroute 20. Continue on Autoroute 20 for about 50km or so. Take the exit for Autoroute 720.

This will take you toward downtown Montréal. The easiest way to proceed is to take the exit for "rue Guy". Go north from the exit ramp. This will put you on Saint-Marc. If you go on Saint-Marc until it ends, you will run into rue Sherbrooke. You're now about seven blocks off of the left edge of the map below. Make a right turn to head toward McGill's campus, or you can ask your hotel for directions from this point.

There don't seem to be any decent on-line maps of Montréal around. The map below is the best I could find. If you're interested in driving around, or if you just want one to feel more secure, I'd recommend buying one on paper.
